Third Pre-Release Track from Debut Album 'Debut' — Now Available: Chopin's Nocturne in E flat major, Op.55, No.2 (arr. Heifetz)

Ahead of the September 25 release of violinist HIMARI's worldwide debut album Debut on Decca Classics, the third pre-release track — Chopin's Nocturne in E flat major, Op.55, No.2 (arr. Heifetz) — is now available to stream.

Published in 1844 as the second of the Two Nocturnes, Op. 55, the E flat major Nocturne unfolds over a gently rocking 12/8 accompaniment, its intertwining melodic lines singing on almost without pause — one of the finest of Chopin's late nocturnes. Heifetz's transcription lifts that vocal line onto the violin. Performed on the rich tone of her 1732 Guarneri del Gesù "Ferni," the track showcases HIMARI's delicate colour and lyrical depth.
